As former globetrotters, we anchored with our kids in livable and loveable Wismar and fulfilled our dream of our own small guest house, close to the historic town centre. Straightforward, spirited, cheerful: That is how we live our dream.
Whether you are planning a short weekend trip or a longer vacation, we invite you to stay with us and enjoy the historic air of beautiful Wismar. The town was recognised world cultural heritage by UNESCO in 2002 and there is much to discover. Stroll through narrow alleys, discover old wells, gates, gables and of course Wismar’s impressive basilicas, all characterised by the typical redbrick Gothic of the Hanseatic towns of Northern Germany. And don’t miss out on eating a delicious fish roll – directly off a fishing boat at the old harbour quay!
If you prefer castles, nature and cycling, then we recommend a visit to Wismar’s surroundings. Take a refreshing bath on one of the white beaches at the Baltic seaside resorts outside the city gates. Cycle through gently swaying corn fields and small romantic villages, or visit ‘Schloss Bothmer’ and the ‘Schweriner Schloss’ which can both be reached within a 30 minute car ride.

Our house…
…offers single and double bedrooms, which can also be occupied as a family room if you book additional beds/cots. All rooms are furnished with shower, toilet and TV. Our house is a non-smoking facility and pets are not allowed. Check-in is possible from 2pm until 9pm, and check-out time is by 10 am. Please let us know your estimated time of arrival.
